Almighty Allah didn’t bestow upon anyone the quality of creating some creatures but a human being: Syed Shahid Hashmi

BALTIMORE, May 28 (SABAH): Central Shoora Member of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and renowned scholar Syed Shahid Hashmi has said that basic relation among human relations is between a husband and his wife. A woman and a man have to undertake different types of responsibilities which is why equality couldn’t be setup between them. Almighty Allah didn’t bestow upon anyone the quality of creating some creatures but a human being and that survival of human civilization and culture depends on differences of types of responsibilities as well as dissimilarity between man and woman. A family is a basic molecule of human civilization. He said that civilization’s building block is not an individual but family.

Syed Shahid Hashmi expressed these views while addressing the 48th convention of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) at Baltimore city in the US State of Maryland. The theme of the current year’s convention is “Faith, Family, Future: Success in the Divine Guidance.”

In the convention, 190 scholars from the US as well as from across the world will present their thesis. In the speakers, renowned scholars of Islamic world including Mohsin Ansari, Yasir Qadhi, Sheikh Omar Suleiman, Shaykh Nasir Janganda, Shaikh Yaser Birjas, Dr. Altaf Hussain, Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan from Pakistan, Imam Suhaib Webb, Dr. Iqbal Nidvi, newly converted Muslim member of the Dutch Parliament Joram Van Klaveren, Abdool Rahman Khan, Zaynab Ansari, Majed Mahmoud, Zahid Bukhari, Suzy Ismail, Dalia Mogahed, Abdullah Oduro, Zahra Billoo, Dalia Mogahed, Afia Yunus, Hussain Kamani and Emir JI India Sadatullah Hussaini will address on the occasion through zoom.

Registration of 18,000 individuals in the biggest convention of Muslims in the US was completed while the organizers were expecting the participation of almost 30,000 individuals.

Well-known players of Pakistan cricket team including Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan will also participate in the convention and will hold meetings with the participants of the convention whereas delegations of Islamic movements from Australia, Canada, Norway and British will also participate in the convention.

While addressing the convention 2023 on the topic of family relations, Syed Shahid Hashmi said that if difference between a man and woman is comprehended the other minor issues could be easily understood and added Allah Almighty conferred upon the duty of creation as well as training of new generations to a woman alongside safeguarding future of humanity. He added it is a big duty which is why she was not given any other responsibility. 

“Basic relation among human relations is between a husband and his wife. A man and woman were handed over different assignments that is why equality is absent between them. Allah Almighty made a man capable of creating some creature,” he concluded.
