All stakeholders to agree if SC constitutes full court bench: Liaqat Baloch

QUETTA, April 4 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and President Political Affairs Committee Liaqat Baloch has said that in the light of current scenario all the stakeholders will agree if Supreme Court constitutes full court bench instead of bench comprising some judges.

Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing an All Parties Conference held in connection with public aftaar dinner at Hyderabad, Karachi and Quetta, Youm-e-Babul Islam ceremony, release of Maulana Hidayatur Rehman and Balochistan’s political, economical, public safety and social issues.

He further said that Balochistan is an important and sensitive province as well as enriched with natural resources but it has been facing gigantic crisis since long, adding due to influence of state institutions it became politically and administratively weak, creating self-seeking, flattering and disappointment in the people.

He welcomed the leadership of Muslim League, National Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, People’s Party, Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees and Balochistan Bar Council in the All Parties Conference. Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Zahid Akhtar Baloch and Maulana Abdu Kabeer Shakar briefed the participants. 

On the occasion, Liaqat Baloch condemned Maulana Hidayatur Rehma’s arrest in the harshest possible terms, saying his arrest was totally unjustified due to false and fabricated allegations against him. He further said that Maulana Hidayatur Rehma had been deprived of the right of bail, adding the double standards of courts in Islamabad, Punjab and Balochistan was creating a number of questions in the minds of the people as he raised the voice for release of missing persons and humiliation on the name of security checking and the rights of people belonging to Gwadar.

Liaqat Baloch furthered that they would stage protests to support movement of Balochi people titled ‘Had Do Gwadar’ and release of Maulana Hidayat ur Rehma across the country. “On May 01, we would stage protest in favour of fishermen and neglected segments of Gwadar across the country,” he said.
