All stakeholders of country should bind themselves to constitutional limits: Liaqat Baloch

ISLAMABAD, May 28 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that all the stakeholders of the country should bind themselves to the constitutional limits. He said the pressure of powerful state institutions on the judiciary and media is causing uncertainty and instability which is deadly to national security and internal unity.

Addressing a political consultative meeting in Islamabad, Liaqat Baloch said that due to toxic political polarization in the country, political, civil, basic human rights, economic justice, rule of law and democratic principles are being deprived. The way is for everyone to bind themselves to the constitutional limits and give up mental indulgence and feudalism, he added.

Liaqat Baloch talking to the delegation of the Milli Yakjehti Council said that the rule of religion, Iqamat-e-deen and system of Mustafa (SAW) is the guarantor of security, development and security of Pakistan. He said on May 28, 1998, due to the nuclear explosion in Chagai, Pakistan became the first country with nuclear capability in the Islamic world. Due to not following the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, the supremacy of the Constitution and the lack of good governance and the internal lawlessness and violation of the constitution have made it more difficult to protect the nuclear capability, he added.

He said that inflation, unemployment, corruption and the violation of merit at all levels are the major causes of economic crisis.

Liaqat Baloch demanded from the Chief Justice of Pakistan that the petition of Jamaat-e-Islami and Milli Yakjehti Council in the Mubarak Sani Qadiani revision case should also be included in the cause list and be heard. He said all the schools of thought agree on this, therefore, the judicial decision based on ambiguity must be corrected, a decision that contradicts the Quran and Sunnah, the consensus of the Ummah and the Constitution of Pakistan is not acceptable to the people, there will be strong public resistance against any such possible decision.
