LAHORE, July 18 (SABAH): The delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir/Pakistan met the delegation of Tanzeem-e-Islami under the leadership of Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi at the Quran Academy Lahore.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Engineer Mushtaq Mehmood, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqub, Zahid Safi and Muhammad Shafi Dar were present in the meeting.

The Tanzeem-e-Islami was represented by the Naazam-e-Ahla Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman Arif, Central Nazaam Broadcasting and Education and Training Khushid Anjum, Naib Naazam Broadcasting Wasim Ahmed and Naib Naazam Broadcasting Razaul Haq. In the meeting, various aspects of the Kashmir issue were discussed. The delegation of APHC Pakistan put forward an agenda based on four points.

A rally is being held in Lahore on July 19, 2024 regarding the Kashmir issue in which various political and religious parties will be represented. In this regard, the Tanzeem-e-Islami was requested to send a senior speaker for the program and the fraternal organization also participate in this rally. A think tank is functioning under the aegis of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Pakistan.

In this think tank, some senior associate should represent the organization permanently. There is no doubt that Azad Kashmir has historically been extremely passionate about its affiliation with Pakistan. But now it has been reduced. This situation needs to be improved.

All the religious parties should increase their unity and consensus regarding the Kashmir issue so that the government can be urged to take practical steps to resolve the Kashmir issue. The government should also be pressured to highlight the Kashmir issue at the political and diplomatic level as well as support the armed struggle of Kashmiris for the right of self-determination and freedom in occupied Kashmir at international forums.
