All possible measures are being taken to ensure security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan: PM Shehbaz


 LAHORE, August 04 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said implementation on the second phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is continuing at a fast pace.

PM Shehbaz Sharif was talking to a seven-member delegation of journalists, who returned to Pakistan after visiting China on the invitation of China Public Diplomacy Association, in Lahore on Sunday.
Those who called on PM Shehbaz Sharif include Salman Ghani, Sheraz Hassan, Khizar Hayat, Khalid Hasnain, Azam Malik and Matiur Rehman. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Advocate was also present during the meeting.

The Prime Minister said he is personally monitoring the progress on Memorandums of Understanding and agreements reached with China, after his recent visit to Beijing.

He said after a recent visit of Chinese experts to Pakistan, a significant progress has been noted on the bilateral cooperation in various fields. He said all possible measures are being taken to ensure security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said there should be no politics on the longstanding relationship with friendly country like China.
