All Islamic countries should recognize victory of people of Afghanistan & Taliban govt on a unanimous basis: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Mar 20 (SABAH): Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President of the Standing Committee on Political and National Affairs, while addressing Central Consultative Meeting in Mansura and public sit-in at Sialkot, said that the OIC Foreign Ministers Conference in Islamabad is welcomed. The people of Pakistan, without distinction, welcome the representative leaders of the Islamic world. The conference is being held on a very important occasion in the region. The entire Ummah, especially the Islamists of Pakistan, have expectations that this conference would be a successful and renewed means of achieving the unity and greatness of the Ummah.

Liaqat Blaoch said that the Foreign Ministers’ Conference should not be limited to resolutions, but progress should be made to create an independent and empowered forum of Muslim countries. In this regard, the conference is expected to ensure the following steps:

– A roadmap of unity and common strategy of the Ummah should be drawn up, so that the Islamic world may be free from slavery.

– All Islamic countries should recognize the victory of the people of Afghanistan and the Taliban government on a unanimous basis.

– Serious steps should be taken against Indian atrocities and the fascist domination against the Muslims of the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir. Trade with India should be made conditional to resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN Resolutions.

– A joint strategy should be announced for the defense, trade, economic, educational and research, scientific and technological development of the Islamic world, and for a credible free media system.

– Serious steps should be announced for global legislation to curb Islamophobia.

Liaqat Baloch said that the grand parade of Pakistan Day on March 23 is a source of pride and gratitude for the entire nation. Every Pakistani has confidence in the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The everlasting sacrifices of the Pakistani forces are a great shield to the security of the country and the nation. The March 23 parade should be targeted for independence of Kashmir next year. The oppressed masses of the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir want strong, unequivocal and decisive support from Pakistan. Fascist Modi has pursued his own interests by making Indians obsessed. Similarly, Imran Khan should not mix poison in our national politics by following the Modi style of politics but should have a national dialogue on national priorities. Stubbornness, ego and bigotry will be a catastrophe for all and as a result of such trends Pakistan will be a red carpet for its enemies.
