Alkhidmat’s Central Management Committee takes stock of its ongoing projects, Zakat campaign during Ramazan
LAHORE, April 3 (SABAH): A meeting of Central Management Committee of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan was held at Alkhidmat Complex. The meeting took stock of performance of Alkhidmat Foundation’s ongoing projects and Zakat campaign during Ramazan across the country.
The meeting was presided over by Central President of Alkhidmat Foundation Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman whereas vice presidents Muhammad Abdus Shakoor, Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Mangat, Zikrullah Mujahid, Aijaz Ullah Khan and Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri as well as other office-bearers participated.
The meeting took stock of Alkhidmat Foundation’s programs relating to safety from calamites, health, education, clean drinking water, sponsorship of orphans, social services, rehabilitation projects in flood-hit areas and Ramazan drive.
Addressing on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that Alkhidmat Foundation believes in the service of humanity irrespective of the discrimination of caste, colour, and religion. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation is working to facilitate hundreds and thousands of human beings through its services.
He shared with the participants that Alkhidmat Foundation was sponsoring 23,000 orphans and added the organization was determined that no orphan remains helpless. For the flood victims, he furthered rehabilitation and reconstruction work was underway with Rs 5 billion.
Alkhidmat Foundation has emerged as significant name inside and outside the country because of its services for humanity, Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said. He added the organization was serving the masses while considering element of self-respect of deserving and needy individuals.
