Alkhidmat’s Central Board of Management meeting takes stock of Gaza relief drive

LAHORE, Nov 15 (SABAH): An extraordinary of Alkhidmat Foundation’s Central Board of Management headed by its President Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman was held at Alkhidmat Complex wherein measures taken with regard to Gaza’s relief were deliberated upon. The board also took stock of future strategy in this regard.

In the board meeting, vice presidents Muhammad Abdul Shakoor, Air Marshal (retd) Farooq Habib, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Ejazullah Khan, Secretary General Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri and board members from across the country participated.

After having detailed discussion, the central president while announcing decisions said that Alkhidmat Foundation will transport 10 ambulances equipped with all instruments.

He said that for establishing field hospital in Gaza, coordination will be made with United Nations, Federation of Islamic Medical Association, ICRC and other international organization.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said they would immediately send food commodities, important medicines and other relief equipment through Cargo whereas other needs like ration would be sent after taking stock of the situation.
