Alkhidmat Hospital Quetta constructed with the cost of Rs 200 miln is a valuable gift for people of Balochistan: Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

QUETTA, Sep 14 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman has said that the Alkhidmat Hospital Quetta constructed with the cost of Rs 200 million is a valuable and precious gift for the people of Balochistan. He said that the progress and prosperity o the people there is need of focusing on education and health. He said that 26.2 million children are out of school in the country and in Balochistan 2.8 million children are out of school. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation is looking after 30, 000 orphan children across the country.

This was stated by Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman while talking to media persons and addressing the ceremony after inaugurating the newly constructed latest hospital by Alkhidmat Foundation at Wahdat Colony Stop#2, Main Brewery Road Quetta on Saturday.

Inauguration ceremony was also addressed by Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Member Balochistan Assembly Abdul Majeed Badini, Senior Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, provincial President Alkhidamt Foundation Engineer Jameel Ahmed Kurd, JI Balochistan Secretary General Zahid Akhtar Baloch, Maulana Abdul kabeer Shakir and Ijaz Mehboob. The ceremony was attended by a large number of social, political personalities and women. Shields were also awarded to men and women who have played prominent role in establishment of Alkhidmat Quetta hospital and other fields.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that Alkhidmat Foundation has set up 56 hospitals, purchased 350 ambulances, established 22 Aghosh Homes (orphanage) and established 80 centers for the education of garbage picking children. He said that 200 educational centers have been established in Balochistan with the name of “Parhta Balochistan”. He said that cheap and quality treatment facilities will be provided in the Alkhidmat Quetta Hospital, adding that no compromise will be made on the standard, adding that the deserving patients will not be let go back without treatment.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman while announcing to donate Rs 3 million for treatment of deserving patients at Alkhidmat Quetta Hospital said that the arrangements have been made for every kind of treatment of women and children at the Alkhidmat Quetta Hospital. Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman requested the philanthropists to support the Alkhidmat hospital for ensuring treatment of poor people and also help for establishment of Alkhidmat hospitals in other parts of Balochistan.
