Alkhidmat Foundation’s Women Wing Trust Lahore installs Sasta bazaar for aid of flood victims


LAHORE, Oct 23 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Women Wing’s programme manager Darkhashan Farheen on Sunday stated that flood victims were still lying under an open sky and time shouldn’t be wasted in their restoration and rehabilitation.

Darkhashan Farheen expressed these views at a Sasta Bazaar installed for helping out flood victims under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Women Wing Trust Lahore. She said that all income from this bazaar will be consumed for assistance of flood victims.

On this occasion, community centre in-charge Afshi Tahir was also present. At the bazaar, the children and women enthusiastically went for shopping whereas some women directly contributed in donations with being part of shopping at the bazaar. 

Darkhashan Farheen said that recent catastrophic floods affected millions of people of the country and their restoration needs abundant resources and therefore every Pakistani should actively participate in this pious duty.

Alkhidmat Foundation’s sole motif was to serve the dejected humanity and it is dynamically working in all spheres of life, Darkhashan Farheen, and added more than 15,000 volunteers of were busy in helping out flood victims.
