Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore organizes wheelchair capacity building workshop

LAHORE, Sep 08 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore organized wheelchair capacity building workshop. Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore’s women volunteers have secured expertise in assembling every kind of wheelchairs. After this the women without the help of the men volunteers will not only be able to assemble wheelchairs but also will be in a position to ascertain that which wheelchairs are needed by which age of people. The women volunteers will also impart training to the people using wheelchairs.

In this regard the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore especially organized the wheelchair capacity building workshop, in which Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s community services team briefed the participants about the assembling of wheelchairs and its importance in detail. The guests of the ceremony included Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Zikrullah Mujahid, In-charge community services Uzma Muhammad Ali and General Secretary Saba Saqib.

While addressing the participants of the workshop Dr. Zikrullah Mujahid said that it is an example that the volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust are working shoulder to shoulder with male volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation. He said that after securing expertise in assembling of the wheelchairs now the women will not need the help of men and could carryout this work by themselves.

Dr. Zikrullah Mujahid said that there is no department of the Alkhidmat Foundation in which women are not plying their role in serving the humanity.

At the end of the workshop certificates were distributed among the participants. Meanwhile shied was presented to Dr. Zikrullah Mujahid. At the end of the workshop Dr. Zikrullah Mujahid visited the center, during which he appreciated the work of the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore and also extended well wishes.
