Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore distributes dowry boxes among 25 deserving families

LAHORE, Nov 08 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore has distributed dowry boxes among 25 deserving families.

While addressing on the occasion, programme in-charge wedding Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore, Rukhsana Arshad said that getting the daughters marries is the prime responsibility of the parents whereas fulfilling this duty has turned out to be very tough in view prevailing state of inflation.

She said that Alkhidmat Foundation along with other social and economic services has been actively undertaking this responsibility for over several years by distributing dowry boxes among the unprivileged and deserving parents.

Rukhsana Arshad said that dowry package include clothes of bride and bridegroom, utensils, kitchen items, beds, jewelry and other things with which a newly-married couple can initiate its new life. She also prayed for good fortunes and happy new journey of life for newly married girls who were given away dowry boxes. 

Rukhsana Arshad also lauded utmost services of philanthropists for humanity and added that Alkhidmat Foundation extends helping hand in getting deserving girls married, provision of clean drinking water, sponsorship of orphans, their education and training, assistance and rehabilitation of victims of natural calamities, treatment of deserving people, and is playing its part in other departments of life.
