Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore along with Quran Institute Pakistan set up a free medical camp
LAHORE, Feb 09 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore with the collaboration of Quran Institute Pakistan set up a free medical camp where thousands of women and children visited for their medical checkup. The patients were given free of cost medicines while they were also referred to hospital for their further treatment.
Free medical camp setup in the underprivileged Shadbagh area of Lahore wherein senior doctors including general physicians, gynecologists, gastroenterologists and expert doctors of other diseases also rendered their services.
Expressing her views on this occasion, Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore’s medical program manager Kiran Mubashar stated that obtaining health as well education facilities was right of every citizen but majority of population of Pakistan was deprived of these basic facilities.
Moreover, she stated that medical treatment and medicines had gone beyond the access of underprivileged population of the country. In such circumstances, she furthered setting up medical camp by Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore for the poor and poor enjoys paramount significance.
Kiran Mubashar in her concluding remarks stated Alkhidmat Foundation was performing social services in all spheres of life which has gained much acceptability among the public too. She added the patients along with their kith and kit also complemented Alkhidmat’s services.
