Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust distributes winter package among 100 deserving families

LAHORE, Nov 28 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust distributed winter package among 100 deserving families at Karamat Colony in Lahore on Sunday.

Alkhidamt Foundation Women Wing Trust held the ceremony at Karamat Colony under the guardianship of Community Center Incharge Yasmin Saleem. The ceremony was also attended by Program Manager Afsheen Tahir.

While addressing on the occasion Yasmin Saleem said that the price spiral has made the life of the poor difficult, adding that prices of petrol, electricity and gas are continuously increasing. She said that the district administration has also failed to control the food items.

She said that Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust is running different programs to support the financially weak families, adding that the family winter package is also part of this program.

Program Manager Afsheen Tahir while addressing on the occasion said that the winter season has started, adding that the people have nothing to eat and it is impossible for them to arrange warm clothes, adding that due to this Alkhidmat Foundation has arranged family winter package, which also include ration along with blankets. She said that the scope of this program under the Alkhidmat Foundation will be broadened to other areas so that more and more people could be benefited from this facility.
