Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust distributes ration among 300 deserving families
KARACHI, Mar 21 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust under its “Ramazan Food Package” distributed ration among 300 deserving and needy families. Ration bags were distributed in a ceremony held at hall of PECHS Block-6 which were further given away to deserving families of the area’s adjacent slums.
District leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami particularly UC Chairman Saifuddin Advocate and Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Chairperson Navida Anees inaugurated the ration program. Notables and office-bearers of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust were present on the occasion.
While delivering speech on the occasion, special guest Saifuddin Advocate said that at present the government was hell-bent upon looting the masses everywhere, throwing them in miserable conditions.
“It lies in the responsibilities of the governments to provide relief to the people but the situation is totally otherwise as people as well as country miseries are getting multiplied with each passing day,” he added.
Saifuddin Advocate furthered that Alkhidmat was serving the masses in an ideal way as it never left the people in the lurch during natural calamities like earthquakes and floods. “Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust was doing this work as it surrenders itself to Almighty Allah’s Will and it lies in the responsibility of whole society to stand by it,” he added. In the ceremony ration was distributed among 300 poor families.
Addressing on the occasion, Navida Anees said ration was distributed in the deserving families of area’s adjacent slums so that they could be included in beneficiaries of the holy month of Ramazan, adding that the process of distributing the ration will be continued.
She maintained that Alkhidmat Foundation dispatch ration to the deserving families across the country including Karachi while considering the element of self-respect of the people. She noted that Alkhidmat Foundation was working in several departments on large scale and requested the pious people to support the organisation in these projects.
