Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing along with women journalists visits flood-hit areas

LAHORE, Dec 12 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing General Secretary Samia Salman, Assistant Secretary Fowzia Usman, Sidra Ramzan and other team members along with women journalists visited flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan. The motif of this visit was to create awareness among public about the ongoing activities in the areas.

During the visit, women journalists of both print and electronic media were present. According to details, they visited Alkhidmat Field Hospital and tent colonies established in several areas of Sukkur, Jaffarabad and Nasirabad. Field Hospitals were setup for pregnant women. They also visited Mother and Child Protection Hospital and Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit.

Samia Salman also talked about the future projects and stressed upon the masses to continue their assistance for rehabilitation of flood victims and added that construction work is a long-term project for which Pakistani nation’s interruption support was required.
