Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan & Prevention of Blindness Trust organize free eye screening camp for orphan children

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 29 (SABAH): Under Orphan Care Program of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and with the cooperation of Prevention of Blindness Trust, free eye screening camp was organized for the orphan children in Sheikhupura.  

Free of cost eye examination of over 150 children residing at the Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikhupura was conducted during the eye camp. Under the supervision of Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Shahid Iqbal, Dr. Naseem Ahmed and Dr. Izhar from Prevention of Blindness Trust conducted the detailed examination of the children. 

On the occasion Shahid Iqbal said that along with provision of the accommodation, food, education and upbringing facilities the orphan children living in the Aghosh Homes, the medical check up of the children is also conducted regularly. He said that during today’s eye screening camp complete check up of eyes of over 150 children was conducted, adding that we are thankful to the POB Trust for this. 

Senior Manager Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program Saleem Murtaza, Senior Manager Aghosh Homes Azeem Shahzad, Administrator Aghosh Sheikhupura Naseem Abbas and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
