Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan hands over first assistance cheque for earthquake-victims to Turkish Consul General


KARACHI, Feb 14 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has handed over its first assistance cheque of Rs 20 million for earthquake-victims to Turkish Consul General Cemal Sangu.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman and Chief Executive Alkhidmat Foundation Karachi Naveed Ali Baig handed over the assistance cheque to Consul General Cemal Sangu on Tuesday.

On this occasion, Executive Director Alkhidmat Foundation Rashid Qureshi was also present. Expressing his views Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Alkhidmat Foundation and Pakistanis were grieved over tragedy of Turkey and Syria, causing life and property losses.

He stated in all testing times Turkiye has stood with their Pakistanis brothers and added they will reciprocate their care and love they extended to us. He furthered in this difficult time Pakistanis were helping out the Turkish people and pray to Allah Almighty to take the afflicted people of Turkiye and Syria out of this trouble.

Chief Executive Alkhidmat Naveed Ali Baig stated that Alkhidmat’s teams were present in the quake-hit areas of Turkiye and Syria and busying in providing relief to the people affected from the devastating earthquake whereas its volunteers through state-of-the-art instruments were searching for those lost under the rubble.

Baig was of the view that he was proud of it that Alkhidmat while representing Pakistanis was busy in ongoing relief work.

At this moment, Turkish Consul General Cemal Sangu while thanking Alkhidmat Foundation complemented its ongoing services in this hour of need.
