Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan dispatches 19th consignment of relief goods to Damascus for Palestinian & Lebanese war victims


LAHORE, Nov 18 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has dispatched the 19th shipment of relief goods to Damascus for the Palestinian and Lebanese war victims. Dispatched relief items include sleeping bags, generators, rice, canned food and dry milk.

Central President Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Vice Presidents Air Marshal (Retd) Arshad Malik, Ijazullah Khan and other government officials sent relief goods to the victims of Gaza and Lebanon, including sleeping bags, generators, rice, canned food and dry milk.

Speaking on this occasion, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that relief goods have been sent through special planes and ships, adding they will continue to send relief items to the Muslim brothers and sisters of Gaza and Lebanon. Ammunition is being thrown in the small strip of Gaza for 405 days, he added.

He further deplored that 70 tons of explosives have been rained on the innocent people, 13 lakh Palestinians including innocent children, elderly and men and women under the open sky are going through a very difficult situation in Gaza.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman noted the Alkhidmat Foundation is continuing the relief operation for the people of Gaza and Lebanon with the support of Pakistani people and well-wishers. The rescue and relief operation was started from October 8, 2023, the day after the start of the war, he said and added prepared food, clean water, milk for small children and hygiene kits for women are being provided daily for residents of Gaza.

He said that two tent schools of Alkhidmat are also working for students inside Gaza where children are being taught. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the severity of the cold is increasing so the difficulties of the victims will increase further, adding they will provide every possible help to needy people with the cooperation of philanthropists.
