Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan determined to extend scope of ‘Bano Qabil Program’ countrywide: Syed Waqas Jafri
LAHORE, July 6 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan was determined to extend scope of “Bano Qabil Program” countrywide.
A meeting was held at central office of Alkhidmat Foundation in connection with Alkhidmat’s Bano Qabil Program wherein future strategy was discussed. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri.
Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Zikrullah Mujahid, National Director of Bano Qabil Program Naveed Ali Baig, National Director Education Dr. Ahmed Jibran Baloch and other office-bearers participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants were given detailed briefing about the Bano Qabil Program. On this occasion, Syed Waqas Jafri congratulated Bano Qabil Team over showing best performance in the port city of Karachi.
Expressing his views, Syed Waqas Jafri said that Bano Qabil Program’s scope would be extended to the other cities of the country including Lahore, Peshawar and Faisalabad and added that poverty and unemployment have emerged as biggest issues of the country.
In wake of exacerbating inflation every day, he said that educated and intelligent youth as well as their families could not afford expensive professional courses and continued that Alkhidmat’s Bano Qabil Program was a ray of hope for such thousands of youth.
Under “Bano Qabil” project, the secretary general of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan noted that the youth will be equipped with the skills that they would be able to acquire jobs for them. He said the youth after completing IT and freelancing courses would be skilled enough to acquire respectable jobs for them. After having done such courses, he furthered the youth would be capable of playing role in supporting of their families as well as playing part in prosperity and development of the country.
Under “Bano Qabil Program,” Naveed Ali Baig briefed the participants that different courses like Amazon, Web Development, Freelancing and Web Designing were underway. While explaining, he said that unemployed matric and intermediate pass students were offered six months courses.
Under Bano Qabil Program, he said that 100,000 boys and girls were registered in the coastal city of Karachi. He mentioned that 46000 boys and girls passed the test. First badge of 13,000 individuals whose courses were going to complete in the offing were now being offered jobs, he added.
He further explained that such courses were registered under Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and Pakistan Software House Association, saying during the next month, certificates would be distributed among those individuals passing out in the first badge while in second phase 15,000 individuals would be enrolled.
