Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan carried our relief activities worth over Rs 1 billion during the Ramadan 2025: Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

LAHORE, April 12 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman has said that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan carried our relief activities worth over Rs 1 billion during the Ramadan 2025. He said that 1.27 million people benefited from the relief activities of Alkhidmat Foundation during the Ramadan 2025. He said that all this service become possible due to the cooperation of philanthropists and hard work of the volunteers of the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.

While addressing a ceremony President Alkhidmat Foundation Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the deserving families were helped through iftaar programs, distribution of food packages and payment of Zakatul Fitr during the Ramadan. He said that ration costing millions of rupees was distributed among one hundred thousand families. He said that iftaar programs were organized in different cities, rural areas, mosques, religions seminaries, hospitals, villages of labourers and panah gahs, adding that 428,000 people benefited from this. He said that likewise orphan children, widows and deserving people were helped through cash payment from zakatul fitr, adding that nearly three hundred thousand people benefited from this program.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the services of Alkhidmat were provided to the deserving people irrespective of any discrimination of cast, colour, religion or political affiliation.

On the occasion Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Zikrullah Mujahid said that the mission of Alkhidmat Foundation is to serve the deprived segments of society with dignity and respect. He said that provision of relief to hundreds and thousands of people with respectable way is proof of our team’s hard work and confidence of people on Alkhidmat Foundation. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation not only during the Ramadan but whole year provides services in eight big fields including Protection from Disasters, Health, Education, Clean Water, Orphan Care, Bano Qabil, Microfinance and Community Services. He said that Alkhidmant Foundation is thankful to all the philanthropists, supporters and volunteers who fully participated in this mission and played exemplary role. He said that in future also the Alkhidmat Foundation will continue its journey of serving the people in whole country.
