Alkhidmat Foundation & Model Town Football Academy organize football tournament to express solidarity with earthquake affectees of Turkiye & Syria

LAHORE, Mar 13 (SABAH): For expressing solidarity with the earthquake affectees of Turkiye and Syria friendly football tournament was organized by Volunteer Department of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan with the cooperation of Model Town Football Academy.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Vice Presidents of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Zikrullah Mujahid, President Model Town Football Academy Mian Rizwan, volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation, different football clubs and students of different universities. During the tournament, the matches were played between Orphan Support Program of Alkhidmat Foundation, University of Management and Technology and Riphah University.

While talking to media on the occasion Dr. Mushtaq Mangat said that the purpose of the tournament was to express solidarity with the earthquake affectees of Turikye and Syria.

Zikrullah Mujahid on the occasion said that sports and healthy activities are vital for the youth, adding that he was happy seeing the vigour of the youth in play.

On the occasion Mian Rizwan said that services of Alkhidmat Foundation for the humanity are appreciable.

At the end of the match, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat distributed gifts among the players.
