Alkhidmat Foundation has introduced Volunteer Management System: Dr. Mushtaq Mangat

LAHORE, Sep 25 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation has introduced Volunteer Management System. The purpose of this system is to enhance the capacity of the volunteers while formulating the networking of the volunteers on the modern lines.

For this purpose a simple but an elegant ceremony was held at the Alkhidmat Complex Lahore on Monday.

Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Executive Director Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Khubaib Bilal, senior manager volunteer department Nisar Ahmed, Sanan Akbar, other office-bearers and a large number of boys and girls’ students from different universities attended the ceremony.

While addressing the ceremony Syed Waqas Jafri said that the volunteers of Alkhidamt Foundation are vanguard of the Alkhidmat Foundation, who have written stories of the public service during the most difficult times. He said whether there is corona pandemic, routine accidents, earthquakes or floods, the 60 thousand volunteers spread in whole country remain every time ready to serve their countrymen. He said that during the recent flood came in whole country in rescue, relief and now rehabilitation phase the Alkhidmat volunteers are enthusiastically rendering services.

Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat said that the purpose of the Volunteer Management System along with formulating the networking of the volunteers on the modern lines is to enhance their capacity. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation want to enhance the number of the volunteers to 1 million through this digital system.

Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat while informing about the details of this system said that one website and one mobile application has been introduced in Volunteer Management System, which is present at Google play store and Apple play store. He said that through this the volunteers could secure the information of all activities and also could become the part of these activities. Through this platform the volunteers could review their performance. He said that till date hundreds of people performed services as Alkhidmat volunteers but so far so there was no such system with us through which we could maintain its record, adding that now through Volunteer Management System we could maintain whole record.
