Alkhidmat Foundation & Hamza Foundation organize a job fair for special people

LAHORE, Sep 25 (SABAH): With the support of Alkhidmat Foundation and Hamza Foundation, Inclusivity Drive Job Fair for Persons with Disabilities was organized in which Dr. Mushtaq Mangat, Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation, Director Hamza Foundation, Zainab Khan, Director General Special Education Punjab Shahida Farooq, senior government officials, personalities from other sectors including textile and IT companies participated.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat said that the purpose of organizing the job fair is to provide equal opportunities to the special people like the general people, so as to ensure the economic and social inclusion of the special people. It aims to equip special people with advanced IT education and skills to help them gain better opportunities in society.

He further said that Alkhidmat Foundation has so far received hundreds of CVs from special people, on which he expressed his commitment that Alkhidmat along with its partner companies will provide support to all these special people in getting jobs.  Director Hamza Foundation Zainab Khan said, Hamza Foundation has been working to empower special people, to give them access to education and employment.

Zainab Khan said that Hamza Foundation is grateful to all the companies that have contributed to create job opportunities for special people. Addressing the participants of the job fair, Director Special Education Punjab Shahida Farooq said, special people have immense potential which can contribute meaningfully to the country’s economy.

She further said that this is the first job fair of its kind in Pakistan for the special people, adding organizing such events will encourage the special people. At the end of the ceremony, the special guests awarded the representatives of the supporting companies and volunteers participating in the job fair with certificates and shields.
