Alkhidmat Foundation distributing winter packages among the deserving people of flood affected areas on priority basis: Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

LAHORE, Jan 07 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman has said that Alkhidmat Foundation is distributing the winter packages among the deserving people of flood affected areas on priority basis. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation is distributing winter packages among the 100,000 deserving families in flood affected areas. He said that so far Alkhidmat Foundation has distributed 50,000 winter packages and remaining 50,000 packages will be delivered to the deserving people in next few days.

President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman informed the meeting held to review the ongoing relief activities in the flood affected areas that the distribution of the winter package is part of Social Services Program of Alkhidmat Foundation, adding that under this program every year warm clothes, blankets and pillows are distributed among the deserving people.

Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that due to the flood the difficulties of the people of affected areas have been increased and due to winter season, the aged people, women and children are in difficulty. He said that the local responsible and volunteers of delivering winter packages among the deserving people while visiting their homes.

Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that different special programs are being organized in whole country regarding the provision of the winter package, adding that through coordinated program and after verification and with honesty the lists of the deserving people are being prepared. He said that coupon is issued and winter package is handed over to the deserving people. He said that the gift of the winter package will not only become helpful remaining safe from winter but also save from the diseases.
