Alkhidmat Foundation distributing ration among 200,000 needy families during Ramazan across the country: Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

LAHORE, Mar 27 (SABAH): White keeping stick to its traditions spanning over several years, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is distributing food packages among the needy and unprivileged class of the society during this Ramazan. 

While disclosing details, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman stated that the organisation is distributing ration among 200,000 needy and unprivileged families during Ramazan across the country, especially flood-hit areas. “A number of ration hubs have been established for the purpose where Alkhidmat’s local teams issue tokens to the deserving families by conducting surveys and through checking. Ration includes flour, rice, oil, sugar, tea, dates, pulses and other edibles. This process has been in progress since beginning of Ramazan,” he added.

He further stated that needy and unprivileged class of the society was particularly affected by inflation He stated the purpose of Ramazan food package division was to take the poor segments of the society along in the happy moments of this holy month so that their burden could be lessened as well as they don’t face any difficulty in observing fasts. Besides this, the president stated the organisation was also organizing dawn [sehri] and evening meal [aftari] across the country during this month.

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan also setup susta tandoors during Ramazan where people were being provided with breads on half price, Dr. Hafeezur Rehman stated. He also appealed to the well-off class to come forward to help out the millions of need individuals and support the organisation for providing ration to the needy people.
