Alkhidmat Foundation delegation headed by its Vice President Global Affairs Muhammad Abdul Shakoor calls on Sardar Masood Khan
WASHINGTON, June 03 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan delegation headed by its Vice President Global Affairs Muhammad Abdul Shakoor called on Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan.
Sardar Masood Khan welcomed the delegation upon arrival at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington. On the occasion Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Aghosh Alkhidmat USA President Shakoor Alam and other responsible were also present.
During the meeting Muhammad Abdul Shakoor briefed Sardar Masood Khan about the Aghosh USA and also informed him about the tireless efforts of Alkhidmat Foundation regarding helping the poor, provision of medical facilities, clean drinking water, orphan care and education facilities. Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Alkhidmat Foundation is not only in Pakistan but at abroad has also become the prominent name of serving the people. He said that hundreds and thousands of people take benefit from the services of Alkhidamt Foundation during the natural calamities and other relief services rendered by it during the whole year. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation carried out rescue and relief activities enthusiastically for the Pakistani people after flood and people of Turkiye and Syria after the earthquake, adding that still rehabilitation and reconstruction work is underway at the affected areas.
Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that confidence of overseas Pakistanis in Alkhidmat Foundation is in fact the recognition of the services of Alkhidmat Foundation.
Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas on the occasion said that we are doing all this work for the welfare of the people and for securing the blessings of Almighty Allah. He said that Alkhidamt Foundation is looking after thousands of orphan children, adding that it is the resolve of Alkhidmat Foundation that no orphan child remains unattended. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation is working day and night for brining improvement in its system through well planning and team work.
Aghosh USA President Shakoor Alam informed that the work done by Alkhidmat management and volunteers during the recent flood is a matter of satisfaction for the people living away from the country. He said that overseas Pakistanis have always helped the countrymen in every difficult time.
Sardar Masood Khan appreciated the services of Alkhidmat Foundation for the suffering humanity. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation has not only served in Pakistan but also let the footprints of service abroad, adding that we should support them in pious deeds. Masood Khan has called for setting up a coordination body to streamline and synergize activities of all volunteers, philanthropists, professionals and others belonging to Pakistani diaspora in the United States.
Muhammad Abdul Shakoor thanked the ambassador for support and recognition of the great deeds of Alkhidmat Foundation.
