Alkhidmat Foundation continuing relief activities in quake-hit areas of Turkiye, Syria; also begins a drive titled ‘Qraz Bhi, Faraz Bhi’
LAHORE, Feb 09 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan was continuing relief activities in the earthquake-hit areas of Turkiye and Syria.
President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that drive titled “Qraz Bhi, Faraz Bhi’ has been initiated for the purpose of expediting the aid activities in quake affected areas. He said Turkish people have always Pakistan in all testing times and there a need that ‘we should reciprocate it.’
Alkhidmat Foundation is collecting donations from the country as well as abroad for assisting Turkish brothers and sisters and along with Turkish organisations; it was distributing cooked rations, winter clothes, blankets, sofas and tents among the victims.
Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman said that teams of Alkhidmat Foundation transporting necessary items and medicines to Turkiye and it will soon initiate its medical operations in the quake-hit areas.
Whereas on the other side, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Abdus Shakoor along with his team arrived in Turkiye with a view of assisting the victims of earthquake where he held meetings with officer-bearers of Turkish welfare organisation ‘Heart Foundation’ and IHH besides the Pakistani youth there.
He also exchanged his views on the role of Pakistani male and female students as well the business community in helping out the victims. He advised the students to play their role along with relief teams in protecting lives of quake-affected people.
