Ahsan Iqbal directs Passport Authority & NADRA to ensure smooth operations & maximum cooperation towards the people
NAROWAL, April 18 (SABAH): Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives inaugurated Passport Processing Counter at Shakargarh NADRA Centre. The facility will be a relief to more than half a million people as it will cater to all identity related needs of citizens in that area.
On the occasion of inauguration of Passport facility, Ahsan Iqbal stressed that ensuring key public service facilities to the people is the priority agenda of the government and part of his vision for his people. Ahsan Iqbal directed Passport Authority and NADRA to ensure smooth operations and maximum cooperation towards the people. The passport facility was a long standing demand of the people of Shakargarh as many work and study overseas from the area.
Residents of Shakargarh gathered in large numbers to thank Ahsan Iqbal for coming through on his promise within 60 days post election. Ahsan Iqbal noted that people’s politics and governance is the vision of government.
Ahsan Iqbal remarked that within a few days of forming government under the Prime Ministership of Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif there are visible signs of restoration of confidence in socio-economic landscape of Pakistan. Moreover, he said that our international isolation is coming to an end as Saudia Arabia and other countries have shown significant interest in investing in Pakistan across different sectors. Ahsan Iqbal termed the visit of Saudi Delegation led by Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia with the promise of significant FDI as pivotal to Pakistan’s future and lauded Prime Minister’s vision for making the visit a success.
