Agreement signed with the IMF should be brought before the masses: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE, July 08 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has that the agreement signed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) should be brought before the masses. He said that 13 political parties jointly were unable to bring improvement in the economy and also failed to control inflation and decrease unemployment. He said that the 15 months performance of the coalition partners is zero, adding that not a single promise was fulfilled by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), on the basis of which they came into power at center, adding that the masses are helpless as they were during the tenure of the previous government. He said that only option for brining real change is Jamaat-e-Islami.


This was stated by Emir JI Sirajul Haq while talking on the occasion of the joining of local leaders and workers of different political parties from Okara in Jamaat-e-Islmai at Mansoorah on Saturday. Secretary General JI Ameerul Azim, Emir JI Central Punjab Javed Kasuri and Emir JI district Okara Dr. Babar Rashid was also preset on the occasion. Sirajul Haq congratulated the delegation and advised them to make earnest efforts for the implementation of Islamic System in the country.
Prior to this Sirajul Haq also addressed the participants of the central workshop at Mansoorah. Sirajul Haq said that the government should announce economic and diplomatic boycott of the Sweden. He said that for the protection of the Islamic sings and for devising an effective strategy against the Islamophobia the meeting of the OIC should immediately be convened. He said that desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden under the official guardianship is a challenge for the dignity of the Islamic Ummah, adding that we could not remain silent on this issue, adding that we will sacrifice our lives for the dignity and respect of the Holy Quran.
