Aghosh Alkhidmat has been inaugurated in South Waziristan’s Tehsil Mir Ali
BANNU, June 21 (SABAH): Aghosh Alkhidmat has been inaugurated in South Waziristan’s Tehsil Mir Ali during a special ceremony by General Officer Commanding (GOC) Shewa Division Major General Naeem Akhtar.
Ceremony was participated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Alkhidmat Foundation’s patron in-chief Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Provincial President Alkhidmat Khalid Waqas, Brigadier Rizwan, Brigadier Tariq, DC North Waziristan Rehan Khattak, provincial vice president Alkhidmat Engr. Ehsanullah Marwat, Dr. Samiullah, Assistant Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Akbar Ali, District President Alkhidmat Foundation North Waziristan Khairullah, District President Muhammad Jalal Shah Advocate, Rizwanullah and others.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Major General Naeem Akhtar thanked the local office-bearers and district administration as well as Akakhail people for showing their spirit and enthusiasm for the establishment of Aghosh Alkhidmat. He prayed from Allah Almighty to accept the sacrifices and martyrdoms of Pakistan army, police and civilians in North Waziristan and added they established peace in this region from 90 to 95 percent while peace in the remaining five percent area would be restored soon.
He further said that there was no reason left for waging holy war after the US left this region as it faced humiliation and defeat, saying on the decrees of Mufti Taqi Usmani like scholars, there was no argument left behind waging the war in this area. He further said in accordance with the teachings of Holy Quran, one who killed a single human being, he killed the entire humanity while Allah Almighty also hold such people accountable in this world.
Major General Naeem Akhtar remarked that Alkhidmat Foundation was found to be best one among more than ten NGOs and added that killers of Qari Sami and Assadullah would be soon held accountable and truth will be unmasked before the people. “I myself became orphan in the age of four year which is why I am better acquainted with the pain of being an orphan,” he added.
“In Holy Quran, a great status has been given to those who sponsor orphans and for Aghosh, I fully believe in Alkhidmat Foundation throughout the country,” he noted. He further said that for providing free of cost education in North Waziristan, more hostels would be established and added that first option is that of Aghosh Alkhidmat in this regard.
“Curse of drugs were eating our coming generations like termite and we want to establish rehabilitation centre with the cooperation of Alkhidmat Foundation for drugs addicted people,” he remarked.
Addressing on the occasion, Central President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that Major General Naeem Akhtar, Brigadier Rizwan, Brigadier Tariq and Colonel Bilal, DC North Waziristan and notables of the areas deserve to be congratulated on the occasion of inauguration of 21st Aghosh Centre and that a year ago Major General had wished to setup Aghosh Centre in North Waziristan which has been materialized.
“In earthquake of 2005, Pakistan Army as well as thousands of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s volunteers were present to provide their services and field hospital had been established only in three days which performed 45000 surgeries and continued in this service Pakistani as well as foreign doctors had taken part,” he said.
He furthered, “In rehabilitation projects, 23000 houses were established and first Aghosh Centre was established in 2006 wherein 200 orphans were given admission. Family sports officers were appointed. Sponsorship of 21000 children is underway. Alkhidmat were providing its services in more than seven departments including Aghosh, Clean Drinking Water, Health Centres, Ambulance Service and others.”
Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said, “61 orphans have been registered in Aghosh Waziristan while this number would be further increased. This centre has been named after martyr Asadullah who was president of Alkhidmat Foundation North Waziristan. Projects worth billions of rupees were underway.”
After Türkiye earthquake, he said Turk President invited volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation who rendered glorious service in testing times in the country and were awarded with the highest awards and added that Turk people did clapping to respect them.”
