After Imran Khan, Shahbaz Sharif’s silence on Kashmir issue, detachment & criminal negligence is a great tragedy: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, June 15 (SABAH): Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council, while addressing a meeting of “Political Prisoner Yasin Malik Release Task Force”, said that Yasin Malik is a courageous and lofty leader of Azadi Kashmir Movement. Kangaroo court in India has convicted him without any guilt. Law, democracy, justice and human rights have been violated. In India, not only the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir but all minorities, especially Muslims, have lost their lives, property, honor, houses and places of worship. There is a need for effective diplomacy and a unified national policy against India’s atrocities and fascist actions.
Liaqat Baloch said that after Imran Khan, Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s silence on Kashmir issue, detachment and criminal negligence is a great tragedy. A full-fledged struggle must be waged around the world for the release of Yasin Malik and Kashmiri leaders.
Addressing a meeting of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Liaqat Baloch said that Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are very important base camps for the independence of Kashmir movement. The leadership of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir is simultaneously a victim of negligence, cowardice and vested interests. The people of Azad Kashmir will have to play a dynamic role in order for Islamabad-Rawalpindi to adopt an effective strategy against the fascist Modi’s actions. Jamaat-e-Islami has been continuously playing the role of keeping the people awake for the solution of independence of Kashmir throughout Pakistan. The international community, especially the Islamic world, must abandon bias, bigotry and anti-Muslim sentiments in order to resolve the Kashmir and Palestine issues. World peace is what every human being needs. War, unrest and deprivation of the freedom of human beings by force have led to unrest, terrorism and extremism.
Liaqat Baloch in reply to a question said that Pakistan is rich in blessings and resources of Allah. The economic crisis is the result of the incompetence, corruption and luxury of the ruling class. The curse of interest, debt, and corruption has disgraced 220 million Pakistanis. The economic crisis will end if the rulers are ready to abolish usury and implement the system of Zakat.
