Afridi, Rauf overcome India’s batting as high-octane match resumes after downpour

PALLEKELE, SRI LANKA, Sep 2 (SABAH): The Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India at Pallekele Stadium resumed after a brief spell of rain on Saturday.

Shaheen Afridi bambozzled Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma and sent him back to pavilion soon after the play resumed. An over later, he also claimed Kohli’s wicket with trademark inswinger.   

Haris Rauf also delivered magical spell as he dimissed Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer as rival team is struggling to face the Pakistani bowlers.
