Afghan Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqani makes first public appearance

KABUL, Mar 05 (SABAH): Minister of Interior Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Sirajuddin Haqani has made first public appearance after taking charge of his portfolio after the establishment of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

Sirajuddin Haqani came in front of public and media during the Police Officers’ Graduation Ceremony at National Police Academy in Kabul.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Permanent Representative-designate to United Nations and Political Office, former Negotiations Team’s Member Muhammad Suhail Shaheen in has released the picture of Sirajuddin Haqani and his statement at the ceremony.

While addressing the ceremony Sirajuddin Haqani said that we have made commitment to the world that we will not be threat to them and made commitment to our people that their life and property are secure.

“I call on those who have left the country to return to their homeland; their life and property are protected; no threat will be posed to them.” Sirajuddin Haqani said.
