Actions against the Constitution are taking place in the country, democracy is weak & there is a kind of restriction on freedom of expression: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
MARDAN, LAHORE, Jan 5 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that steps are being taken against the Constitution in the country, democracy is weak and there is a kind of restriction on freedom of expression. He said that 40% of people are living below the poverty line and the people have no access to justice.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the completion ceremony of Bukhari at Jamia Miftahul Uloom Shergarh Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Central Abdul Wasia, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Mardan Ghulam Rasool, Muhtamim Jamia Miftahul Uloom Shergarh Maulana Safiullah, Mian Muhammad Akram and Mian Tajamal Hussain were also present on the occasion.
He said that there is a separate education system for the poor and the rich, adding Jamaat-e-Islami will solve the country’s problems while the elite imposed on the country is harming generations.
He said that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam, adding millions of sacrifices were given for the desire of this system while the present system is a mockery of the sacrifices given for the sake of the country. He appealed to the scholars to support Jamaat-e-Islami for the establishment of Islamic system.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said these few people have become masters of 25 crore people, they have united themselves for their own interests and they have divided the nation. He said that there is a need for struggle to change the system while the revolutions in the world are brought by human beings. He said there has been a great change in Bangladesh, the regime of oppression that was established there, the world has seen with its own eyes the degradation of Sheikh Hasina Wajid.
He said that Hasina Wajid executed senior leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, imprisoned and tortured thousands of innocent people in jails. He said that in today’s Bangladesh the past perception of Pakistan and hatred towards Pakistan have ended. Today, Alhamdulillah, messages of good relations and love with Pakistan are being received from Bangladesh, he added.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the current system in Pakistan is invalid. It is written in the Constitution that no legislation can be passed against Allah Almighty and His Messenger (SAWW) and the Qur’an and Sunnah, but in reality it is being reversed.
