Accountability court returns plot allotment reference against Nawaz Sharif, other accused to NAB

LAHORE, Feb 16 (SABAH): An accountability court in Lahore on Thursday returned plot allotment reference against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and other accused to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after amendments in the NAB law.

The reference has been returned back to NAB Lahore office in light of the NAB Amendment Ordinance 2022. The accountability court declared that this reference doesn’t fall under its jurisdiction because it was below than Rs 500 million.

The court had declared PML-N supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif an absconder in this reference earlier.

The court declared that if NAB wants it could approach the concerned forum against Nawaz Sharif.
