A sensible woman could establish a dignified society: Kulsoom Ranjha


LAHORE, Mar 11 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing organized women conference in Lahore on Friday. The slogan of the conference was “Sensible Woman, Stable Family”.

The program was held under the chair of President Women and Family Commission Dr. Rukhsana Jabeen. Panel discussions, lecturers and dars-e-Quran were arranged under the topics of “Sensible Woman, Stable Family”, “Khidmaat ki Qaus-e-Qaza” and “Ahle Zauq ki Nazar Ma”.

On the occasion Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Mushtaq Mangat while elaborating the importance of the strong family said that sensible man and woman are guarantors of the stable family. He said that the character of the man and woman is the guarantor of the success of the future generations and also responsible for the establishment of a welfare society. He said that the efforts of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing for making a woman sensible and empowered are worth following.

President Alkhdiamt Foundation Women Wing Kulsoom Ranjha said that a sensible woman could establish a dignified society. While talking about the services of the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing, Kulsoom Ranjha said that to fulfill the needs of the deprived segments, Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing is working at individual and collective level. She said that the services include provision of the health facilities, dowry package, winter package, organizing collective marriages and provision of other needs of life in homes of the needy people with the help of the philanthropists.The conference was attended by General Secretary Women Wing Samia Salman, author Saima Asma, Dr. Naila Sarwat, PTV Producer Huma Sadaf, Barrister Ambreen Qureshi, Dr. Ummat Alzareen, Zar Afshan Farheen, Saba Saqib and girl students of different universities, women journalists and a large number of women belong to different walks of life. The ceremony was also addressed by other speakers. Alina Arshad performed responsibilities of host. At the end of the program Ayesha Munawar lead “dua”.
