76 persons involved in attack on gate of GHQ arrested: CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Mehmood Hamdani

RAWALPINDI, May 14 (SABAH): Seventy-six involved in an attack on gate of General Headquarters (GHQ) have been arrested while 26 of them have been presented before media.

While addressing a press conference, City Police Officer Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani said that 264 persons involved in destructive activities were arrested till now while 17 cases were registered.

He further said that 76 persons were arrested in case number 708, RA Bazar GHQ. He said that all persons were arrested through CCTV and investigation.

In Metro Bus station inferno, losses of 800 million rupees incurred, he revealed, and added in this case 27 persons were arrested so far. He furthered that all persons who are found to be involved in such heinous crimes would be punished.
