14 people killed as a passenger jeep plunges into the Neelum River
MUZAFFARABAD, July 10 (SABAH): In Azad Kashmir, 14 people were killed and one was injured when a passenger jeep plunged into the Neelum River near Muzaffarabad on Wednesday.
According to the police, a jeep skidded off the road at Pathika Devliyan and plunged into a deep ravine.
The deceased include eight men, four women and one child belonging to the Neelum Valley. One injured woman was shifted to CMH, Muzaffarabad.
The jeep was enroute to Muzaffarabad from Upper Lawat when it fell into Neelum River on Neelum Road. The killed person have been identified as Muhammad Ashraf, Ghulam Yasin, Muhammad Fareed Butt, Majid khan, Tariq, Salma, Resham Khan, Zardana Bibi, Tanzeel Butt, Rafique Butt, Saima Bibi, Ishrat Bibi and Zeenat Bibi. Meanwhile Ulfat Bibi was injured in the result of the accident.
