49 Senators elected from all four provinces, ex-FATA & Islamabad will retire on 3rd March after completion of their 6 years tenure
ISLAMABAD, Feb 02 (SABAH): 49 Senators elected from all four provinces Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, ex-FATA and Islamabad will retire on 3rd March after completion of their 6 years tenure.
Those who will retire include Chairman Senate Mir Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Leader of the House in Senate Mohammad Ishaq Dar, former Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani, Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and others. These senators were elected in March 2018.
Those who will retire include 12 from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) 12, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) 8, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) 2, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) one each. Those who will retire include Behramand Khan Tangi, Dilawar Khan, Faisal Javed Khan, Fida Khan, Azam Khan Swati, Talha Mahmood, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Dr. Mahar Taj Roghani, Rubina Khalid, Pir Sabir Shah, Dr. Shahzad Waseem, Dr. Asif Kirmani, Hafiz Abdul Karim, Kamran Michael, Ishaq Dar, Dr. Musaddaq Masood Malik, Nuzhat Sadiq, Rana Mahmoodul Hassan Khan, Seemi Zaidi, Shaheen Khalid Butt, Dr. Farogh Naseem, Engineer Rukhsana Zuberi, Imamuddin Shauqeen, Khalida Sikandar, Mian Raza Rabbani, Maula Bukhsh Chandio, Qurratul Ain Marri, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Waqar Mehdi, Abida Azeem, Maulvi Faiz Ahmed, Akram Khan, Sadiq Sanjrani, Tahir Bizenjo, Naseebullah Bazai, Sana Jamali, Sardar Shafique Tareen, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Asad Ali Khan Junejo, Hilalur Rehman, Shamim Afrdi, Mirza Khan Afridi and Senator Hidayatullah Khan will retire on 3rd March 2024 after completion of their 6 years tenure.
