44% Pakistanis report not seeing any banners, flags or posters for political parties in their localities or areas for the upcoming elections of 2024: Gallup Survey

ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (SABAH): According to a survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 44% of Pakistanis report not seeing any banners, flags or posters for political parties in their localities or areas for the upcoming elections of 2024.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the question, “Are there banners/ flags/ posters of political parties for 2024 elections in your locality/area?”

In response, 13% said ‘Yes, a lot’, 20% said ‘Yes, to some extent’, 19% said ‘Very few’, 44% said ‘None at all’, and 5% said that they did not know or gave no response.

The study in Pakistan was conducted and released by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1,015 men and women in urban and rural areas of all four provinces of the country, conducted from January 3rd – 18th 2024. The error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 percent at the 95% confidence level. The methodology used for data collection was telephonic surveys (CATI).
