3-day long training workshop regarding the digitization of Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit held
RAWALPINDI, August 02 (SABAH): 3-day long training workshop regarding the digitization of Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit was held.
The closing ceremony of the training workshop was attended by Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri,
Chairman Alkhidmat Health Foundation Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, National Director IT Dr. Saad Zafar, CEO Alkhidmat Foundation Khubaib Bilal, CEO Alkhidmat Health Foundation Suffiyan Ahmed Khan, General Manager IT Aurangzeb Ahmed and staff of the Mobile Health Unit from whole country.
While talking on the occasion, Syed Waqas Jafri said that 12 mobile health units established during the recent past are being used for the service of the masses of backward areas of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Punjab. Syed Waqas Jafri appreciated the role and services of the Mobile Health Unit for looking after the affected communities and citizens throughout Pakistan.
Dr. Zahid Latif on the occasion said that Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit is a mini hospital, adding that the doctors remain present in the Mobile Health Unit. He said that free of cost facilities of tests in latest laboratory and free of cost medicines are provided to the patients.
Through Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit so far after conducting check up, tests, free of cost medicines have been provided to 0.6 million patients. Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit has been digitized through latest technology and now the data of the patients belonging to far flung arrears will be available with the monitoring cell, which will help patients to avail more facilities.
Alkhidmat Mobile Health Unit staff distributed certificates among the participants and appreciated their resolve for equipping themselves with the digital skills for looking after the health of the countrymen.
