27th October, 1947 is black day for Kashmir: Farooq Rehmani

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K, has said that 27th October is being observed as Black Day in Jammu and Kashmir and overseas by Kashmir to condemn the Indian aerial invasion and annexation of Kashmir as India deprived the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their inalienable birth right–the right of self-determination and later flouted the UNSC resolutions to hold plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said India violated and broke its own Constitution by abrogation of the Article 370 and 35A, which gave Kashmir a special status among many states of India. He stated that thousands of Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders were languishing in different jails of India for the last several decades to prevent any mass outbreaks in the shape of freedom and right of self-determination. Questing Indian claim over Kashmir in the light of the ground scenario , he said that had India any locus standing, she wouldn’t have kept massive army presence of her military exceeding over 9 hundred thousand personal armed with most modern arms and ammunition beside a thick intelligence net-work for surveillance of the Kashmiris.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani ridiculed Modi regime’s white lies saying that not a single Kashmiri was with India. It was with this reason that India changed the century-old permanent state resident law & granted domicile certificate of Kashmir to over 3 million Indian non-state people to change the Muslim majority character of the former princely State of Jammu and Kashmir. In addition to changing the demography of Kashmir, India had imposed his own delimitation law and to form a Hindu majority government with a BJP racist Chief minister, it has manipulated to raise the number of legislature seats of the Jammu province to make Kashmir a satellite colony of Delhi.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani warned although India was making horrible conspiracies as Israel did in Palestine to wipe out the map of Palestine, she will never be allowed to implement its nefarious design on Kashmir.” Any change in the Muslim character of the State will be disastrous for the whole region and only a just and peaceful settlement in accordance with the UN resolutions will bring stability and prosperity in the region, he emphasised.
