Alkhidmat Foundation has bright history of the welfare works in whole country: Muhammad Abdul Shakoor
GWADAR, May 20 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor has said that Alkhidmat Foundation has bright history of the welfare works in whole country. He said that active team of Alkhidmat Foundation is present in all the districts of Balochistan, adding that we have provided Rs 60 million equipment to Civil Hospital Gwadar and Turbat. He said that during the current financial year Rs 125 million projects have been completed in the province, adding that laboratory and child protection center will be completed in Gwadar.
This was stated by Muhammad Abdul Shakoor while addressing a press conference at the Gwadar Press Club on Friday. On the occasion President Alkhidmat Foundation Balochistan Engineer Jamil Ahmed Kurd, Vice President Ijaz Mehboob and provincial and districts leaders were also present.
Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that the work is also continued for looking after 400 orphan children, provision of ration to low income needy people, provision of sacrificial meat on Eidul Azha and other projects. He said that soon a big latest hospital will be established in Quetta. He said that in different districts ambulance, labs and small hospitals are being established, adding that this whole work is being done with the assistance of the philanthropists.
Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Gwadar is the face of Pakistan, adding that if Gwadar will make progress the Balochistan and whole Pakistan will move on the road of progress. He said that the ratio of poverty and unemployment is in huge number in Balochistan and government and welfare organizations should pay special attention on these issues. He said that in several districts of Balochistan the people are even deprived of the human rights, adding that our struggle regarding provision of the clean drinking water is continued. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation is present everywhere from Chaman to Gwadar, Wahga Border to Karachi and Khyber.
Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Alkhidmat Foundation is carrying out work of upbringing of the orphan children and imparting training to widow mothers, adding that in whole country more than 20 thousand orphan children are being looked after and educated.
