Govt committed to provide conducive environment to investors: Miftah Ismail
ISLAMABAD, May 19 (SABAH): Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Miftah Ismail Ahmed says the government is committed to provide conducive environment to investors and businessmen for growth of economic activity in the country.
He was talking to Vice Chairman of Indus Motor Company Shini Yanagi and CEO of the Company Ali Asghar Jamali in Islamabad on Thursday. They briefed the Minister on the performance of the company and its contribution to revenue of Pakistan.
Presenting some proposals regarding auto industry for the upcoming budget, they requested the support of government to the auto industry to sustain the consumer prices and sales of cars.
The Finance Minister said the government is cognizant of the issues of the business community and hurdles in the expansion of business activities in the country. He said the upcoming budget will be business friendly and will contribute in promotion of exports and businesses in the economy.
