PM Shehbaz condemns state oppression against Palestinians
MADINA MUNAWWARA, April 29 (SABAH): Prime Minister Main Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated international resolve for a separate and independent state of Palestinians and expressed solidarity with the valiant people of Palestine.
In a statement on the occasion of International Day of Al-Quds on Friday, Shehbaz Sharif condemned state oppression against Palestinians.
The Prime Minister urged the international community to play a practical role in ensuring the implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions and agreements on a two-state solution.
Shehbaz Sharif said only the implementation of resolutions passed on the issues of Kashmir and Palestine can bring sustainable peace to the regions and the world.
He paid rich tribute to martyrs of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine. He also prayed for the freedom of the people of the territories.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered Friday prayers at Masjid-e-Nabvi (SAWW) on the second day of his three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia on Friday.
On the occasion, he prayed for security, stability and prosperity of the country and the nation.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accompanied by his delegation again paid respect at Roza-e-Rasool (SAWW) at Masjid-e-Nabawi in Madinah.
The Prime Minister offered Nawafils at Riaz ul Jannah and prayed for the security, progress and socio economic development of the country.
