Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan delegation meets US Congresswoman Ilhan Abdullah Omar; discusses bilateral issues


LAHORE, April 23 (SABAH): Five-member delegation of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan headed by its President Muhammad Abdul Shakoor held meeting United States Congresswoman Ilhan Abdullah Omar and discussed bilateral issues. On the occasion Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that the efforts and struggle of Ilhan Omar in America against the racial discrimination and Islamophobia are worth appreciating.

He said that the way Ilhan Omar has raised voice in American Congress on issues of Palestine and Kashmir, the whole Muslim Ummah sees these efforts with great respect.

Alkhidmat Foundation delegation informed Ilhan Omar about the services rendered by it for the Muslims of Afghanistan, Turkey,

Rohingya and Palestine. Ilhan Omar hailed the services of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan outside Pakistan and said that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan should also extend its serves to Somalia and in this regard she is ready to extend every kind of cooperation.

Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Alkhidmat Foundation will devise strategy in consultation with its international partners regarding starting the relief work in Somalia and in this regard will also remain in contact with Ilhan Omar. Beside this, the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan extended the invitation to Ilhan Omar for attending the Alkhidmat Youth Gathering, which was accepted by her.

The Alkhidamt delegation included Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Shahid Iqbal, National Director of the Alkhidmat Social Welfare Services Amir Mahmood Cheema, Ahmed Toor from Alkhidmat Foreign Affairs Department and Murtaza Hussain from Resource Mobilization Department.
