A coaster accident in Haveli district, Azad Kashmir leaves four people dead
KAHUTA, March 16 (SABAH): A coaster fell into a ravine on Sunday morning in Haveli district of Azad Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to several others.
According to the police control room, the accident occurred in the Mahmood Gali area of Haveli due to slipperiness on the road. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into a 200-meter-deep ravine. The coaster had 15 passengers on board. The police control room stated that local residents and rescue teams are present at the accident site to transport the injured to the hospital.
Among those who lost their lives in the accident were former emir Jamaat-e-Islami Haveli, Maulana Muhammad Khurshid, Malik Sher Baz Awan, Abdul Rauf (son of Khan Muhammad Khan), Khalid Gulshan, and Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed.
According to rescue officials, the bodies and injured have been shifted to Kahuta Civil Hospital.
