Govt will ensure mainstreaming Baloch youth through focused development of Balochistan: Shehbaz


ISLAMABAD, April 21 (SABAH): Head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday.  They discussed overall political situation of the country.           

The JUI-F chief expressed concern over the economic statistics of last four years presented in the first cabinet meeting. He, however, welcomed the new cabinet’s commitment to take the country out of this difficult situation and put it on the path of progress and prosperity. 

Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah Khan and Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Muhammad Saad Rafique were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile President Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Sardar Muhammad Akhtar Jan Mengal called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday. They discussed current political situation of the country.  

Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said Balochistan is not just rich in natural resources but its human resource is also a valuable asset for the country. He said the government will ensure mainstreaming the Baloch youth through focused development of Balochistan.

Sardar Muhammad Akhtar Jan Mengal welcomed the government’s policy of prioritizing the development of Balochistan.

Minister for Interior Rana Sanauallah Khan and Minister for Railways and aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile the federal government has announced 10 million rupees assistance for the injured and deceased of fire incident in a village in Dadu district of Sindh.             

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made the announcement after receiving initial investigation report of the tragedy that took lives of nine people.

The Prime Minister directed to provide every possible assistance to the affectees of the incident and best medical treatment to the injured.

Ordering thorough probe into the cause of fire, the Prime Minister said strict action will be taken against those found negligent.

He also directed the district administration to take precautionary measures necessary to prevent any such future tragedy. 

The Prime Minister said the whole nation shares the grief of those who loss their loved ones in this tragic incident.
