Imram Khan denotified as PM after success of no-confidence motion against him
ISLAMABAD, April 10 (SABAH): Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his cabinet have been de-notified on Sunday.
The Cabinet Division has issued the notification of the success of no-confidence motion.
According to the notification: In pursuance of the National Assembly Secretariat notification No-F,16(1)2022-ligis dated 10th April, 2022 that the National Assembly of Pakistan, in its sitting held on 10th April, 2022, has passed the Resolution of no-confidence against Mr. Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi ceased to hold the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Mr. Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi ceased to hold the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan in terms of Article 95(4) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with immediate effect.
The notification has been issued by Eazaz A. Dar, Additional Secretary, Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat, Cabinet Division, Islamabad. The copy of the notification has also been sent to all the concerned officials.
It is also worth mentioning here that the 52-member cabinet of prime minister Imran Khan has been dissolved after his removal from the prime ministers ship in result of success of no-confidence motion on Saturday night.
